Townsend Community Centre is situated in between the One Stop shop and the Bournemouth Training Centre on Jewel Road (old Townsend School).
Townsend Community Centre is a Bournemouth Borough Council building managed by Townsend Community Association. The Association is a Management committee made up of Members of the community who volunteer there time to manage the centre and is a registered Charity. The Centre is completely managed by Volunteers and has NO paid members of staff.
There are a variety of activities available for the community from: Community Days, Cooked lunches, CAB, Bingo, Darts, Christian Fellowship, Football, Karate, TCAMP (The Community Arts & Music Project).
