
TCAMP is an acronym for, The Community Arts & Music Project. A free experience of the performing arts for children from 5-16years of age and all abilities, available at the Townsend Community Centre, Jewell Rd. TCAMP provides free training for performing arts, aiming to develop real life skills as well bring great fun to the community. Whether your child can sing, dance or act or wishes to learn, please come along on a Wednesday evening from 6:00pm til 7:30pm.
Would you like to volunteer, we are always looking out for dance/choreographers, drama teachers and even somone to put the kettle on, if you would like to help out then please contact via the tcamp website.

2010 saw An Evening of Magic & Illusion with very special guests VIZAGE who wowed the crowds with their unique magic, illusion and quick change act. TCAMP donated £200 to Poole Hospital Rheumatology Research fund.
Townsend's Got Talent 2010 was won by Amy May. Amy sang a beautiful version of Alexandra Burke's version of 'Hallelujah'.
This project is now in it's 3rd year and TCAMP has won the backing of a number of major companies within the music industry. As part of 2011, we are setting up a Community Based Record Label, to give young talent in Bournemouth the chance to be heard, if you are interested, come along on a Wednesday and join in. The children and young people are currently working on developing an 'identity song' and music video which will be released later this year in aid of charity.
