Townsend Children's Centre

 

tcampTCAMP is an acronym for, The Community Arts & Music Project. A free experience of the performing arts for children from 5-16years of age and all abilities, available at the Townsend Community Centre, Jewell Rd. TCAMP provides free training for performing arts, aiming to develop real life skills as well bring great fun to the community. Whether your child can sing, dance or act or wishes to learn, please come along on a Wednesday evening from 6:00pm til 8:00pm.

 

Would you like to volunteer, or can you sing or dance, then please contact us as we are always looking for people to help whether helping the children or just putting the kettle on when needed.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making Towsend's Got Talent 2009 a great success. This years winner was Hayley Hornyak who sang Faith Hill's 'Love Is A Sweet Thing' whilst Lauren Purdy, Kaysie Brooks-Witt & Keilie Knight were runners up.

 

Registration for 2010 takes place on the 27th Jan at the Community Centre 6-8pm. All children must be accommpanied by an adult. TCAMP will commence from the 3rd February 2010.
