A pool of officers working from Winton Police Station polices Townsend; these officers cover a wide area and will respond to calls of an urgent nature.

 

In addition to this Townsend has a dedicated team consisting of safer neighbourhood officer PC Nicola Hughes 2269, PCSO Lucy Weeks 5416 and PCSO Danny Lisk 5452. These officers deal with local issues and problems of an ongoing nature.

 

All residents are encouraged to participate in the Virtual Homewatch Scheme. This involves completion of a form giving personal details. Once submitted this is used by the police to leave both voice and electronic messages relating to crime and local issues. Forms can be obtained from Townsend Community Centre, Jewell Road or by contacting one of the officers. Alternatively send contact details to the team via including your Name, Address, Telephone number and e-mail address, if you have one.
