Townsend Community Fridge

Do you dislike the amount of food that ends up as waste?

A Community Fridge is a fridge located in a public space. It enables food to be shared within a community, anyone can take food out (and if they wish put food in).

The main aim of Community Fridges is to reduce food waste.

Pop into Townsend Community Centre and take out the food you need. Open Mondays 9-11am and Wednesday 9-10am.

Townsend Pumpkin Carving and Eating!

Wednesday 24 October, 11am-1pm at Townsend Community Centre. Open to adults and children.

Please make sure you book in advance so we have plenty of pumpkins.

Household Bin Collections - Food Waste Container

Your Food Waste Container is for recycling your food waste and it is emptied weekly.

You can now pick up a new roll of compostable caddy liners from Townsend Community Centre, office open Mon-Fri, 9am-12.30pm.

Townsend Halloween Party

Wednesday 31 October, 3.30-5.30pm at Townsend Community Centre. Tickets on sale after school drop-off 9am-9.30am outside the Community Centre.

Townsend Inspire Holiday Club

Taking place on: Monday 22 October, Thursday 25 October, Friday 26 October, 8.30/9am - 4.00pm @ Townsend Youth Centre.

For children 5-11 years old. £7.50 per day.

Lansdowne Church Light Party

Light Party on Friday 26 October, 5.30-7.30pm at Lansdowne Church Woodbury Avenue, BH8 0HH.

A fun filled evening for all the family with disco, bouncy castle, games, crafts, drama and food. Prizes for the lightest and brightest fancy dress.
