Townsend Together Team

Mission Statement of the Townsend Together Team (3Ts)

This group was set up as a direct request from residents to enable them to work together effectively for the Townsend area. The group has representatives from Bournemouth Borough Council, Western Challenge Housing Society, The Police local, schools, Churches, Children’s Centre and local residents.

We meet at least eight times a year and hold meetings at days and times to suit as many people as possible.

The group has;

Helped reduce Anti Social Behaviour and crime in the area.

Improved youth provision for the local community.

Improved environmental issues
Improved Community Cohesion
Working relationship with Townsend Community Centre
Worked with The Children’s Centre to improve facilities for families with under 5’s

Townsend Together Team goes from strength to strength and agencies are fully committed in developing and improving the quality of life for people in this area.
